Hey guys new here, we just recently purchased an 87 chevy r10. Its got 90,000 miles, 350 5.7 v8 engine. It all runs great but someone tried stealing it before we got it so since the ignition cylinder was so bad we took it to a shop for repair. We purchased the new steering column housing and apparently it doesnt fit. Does anyone have an idea on where to purchase an original? Im having trouble finding parts.

I was able to get a steering column from eBay, so things like that may be your only option.

Hmm thats the one place i was thinking too. Thanks

If it's a tilt column, try AutoZone for part number LC62820 (http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/Locksmart-Steering-Column-Housing-Repair-Kit/_/N-8ijiz?itemIdentifier=646698_0_0_).
