Hey guys, so I went to go start my truck this morning, got it started and it ran for 5-10 minutes I get in to go to school put the baby in gear and it slowly dies like it's out of gas. (It's not). Haven't figured out the problem yet and was curious if anyone had ideas. I know it could be a very large number of things but just need some advice. It's a 1986 K10 Scottsdale.
Thank you

I know it could be a very large number of things but just need some advice.
It's pretty much one of three things; air, fuel or spark...
Have you checked the fuel filter(s) at the carburetor (on a Q-jet) or any inline fuel filters? Is the fuel pump supplying a sufficient volume of fuel to the carburetor? Carburetor is/has been working correctly otherwise? Is the distributor cap and rotor clean, dry and not excessively worn?

I haven't checked any of that yet but when I got home earlier it started up an drive fine. It was parked in my driveway which is on an incline and it was parked on the street since this morning so I'm wondering if it could be not getting gas from the sending unit. But I never had the problem before so I'll have to check those out.
Thanks for the help
