Title: 1986 C10 Engine rebuild

Just wondering if anybody knows of any good shops near the Austin, TX area that could rebuild my 350.

A little back story....

Have a misfire a lower idles that has been bothering me. I have gotten a full tune-up to replace what I would know to be the first step in issues (my wires were TERRIBLE!). The carb gasket was also cracked and was replaced, but the problem persists. Looking at my options, but I just want to know if anybody is aware of a good shop to do a rebuild.

To chime in, have your engine analysed to see if it is electrical or engine related.  Does it burn oil?  Lots of things to determine before I personally would opt for a rebuild.  My $.02

It is getting diagnosed right now. I was just seeing about similar issues and the way that it was resolved. It doesn't burn much oil at all. I am just hoping that it is a bad seal that can be fixed relatively cheaply.
