Title: tranny Q?
Post by: markzepp820 on October 11, 2005, 02:51:00 am
I have a 79' c20 with a th-400. I'm wanting to convert it into a floor shifter instead of on the steering column. I know they make automatic floor shift kits for my tranny. Will i have problems with the steering column? Do I have to disasemble part of the column mechanism?help? Thanx

If you don't want to change out the column, just disconnect all of the linkage from the column and frame and attach the floor shift per instructions.
