Hi guys. It's been a while since I've been on the forum. I'm still trying to get my truck dialed in and I've run into some challenges.
Any time I turn the wheel to the right, moving or not, the engine dies. I have looked and wiggled and pulled on every wire in there and can't find an exposed wire, or a loose wire. Either from my firewall forward or behind, nor in the steering column. Am I missing something? Is this a distributor problem? Is it a fuel problem? I'm stuck and frustrated.
Thanks!

Assuming that it dies suddenly and doesn't just lower rpm's until it stalls: hook a wire to ground and to 12v+ at the distributor and connect to voltmeter or test light. See if you are losing voltage there. Assuming that is good, hook a wire up to the distributor clamp and run it to battery negative. See if that makes the problem go away. It could be a faulty ground wire.

Thank you. Trying that now.
