I have a 79 chevy k10. Just recently bought the truck and is in great shape. The only problems that I am having with the truck are the fuel gauge is stuck past full and the temp gauge is stuck past hot. Neither gauge will move at all. I checked ground and ground is good. Hate electrical so I have no idea where to start.

Temperature Gauge: What does the gauge indicate if you unplug the temp sensor? High sensor resistance is cold, low resistance is hot. Inspect for a grounded dark green temperature sensor lead.
Fuel Gauge: Inspect for a disconnected or cut tan fuel gauge sender wire somewhere between the gauge and sender, or a sender that isn't properly grounded.
