Title: Dana 60 rear
Post by: timthescarrd on November 25, 2014, 11:27:50 am
I found a good deal on a Dana 60 FF SRW axle out of a mid-70s Dodge.  I have an 83 K10 with the 10-bolt rear end right now.  I know I may need to move the spring perchs and Shock mounts.  But what else would I need to measure to ensure I could fit this axle under my truck.

I believe Center to Center for Spring Perchs is 42.5 inches,  does anyone know the other measures?

Thanks in Advance

I don't remember of the top of my head what the spring perch spacing is, but I remember the Dodge rear being slightly different along with the shocks and a possible new driveshaft to match the new yoke.

Over all width, perch width, and pinion angle are the only things I can think of.  Overall width it the most important.  The other two can be altered.
