Title: pushrod length
Post by: dieselman123 on November 29, 2014, 02:14:57 pm
I'm currently building a 355 sbc with vortec heads and planning on using comp cam 12-235-2. Where I'm stuck at is I really don't know what size length pushrods do I need to use. Can anyone help me please. I'm thinking about using stock length pushrods for a 350 thanks in advance.

If using flat tappets, either hydraulic, or solid, use standard.

If using roller lifters a special length push rod is necessary.

I always play it safe. A pushrod length tool is cheap and can prevent premature valve train wear. I reccomend Checking the lengths on your own and remove any doubt
