Post by: 74stepside on June 27, 2006, 09:50:00 pm
I am having my 350 redone next week i was wondering if anyone could give me a rough estimate of how much horsepower it may have when i get it back..here are the specs....

69-79 350 4-bolt
Forged flat-top Speed Pro hypereutectic pistons

Clevite 77 Class III performance camshaft - 480/480 lift, 290/290 adv dur., 230/230 duration @.050", 110/118 lobe sep.

76 cc 2.02 cylinder heads

edelbrock performer 750 carb

flowtech afterburner headers and 40 series mufflers

if anyone also has a rough idea of what the compression ratio will be that is appriciated also....

no one will know how much horsepower your engine will produce. Way too many variables to determine this.....once you get it installed and broke in, take it to a chassis dyno. We can guess all day long.....:hat

So are you using forged or Hypereutectic pistons?

Realistically that will put you in the 275HP range
