Title: Tapatalk issues
Post by: LTZ C20 on December 19, 2014, 12:00:29 am
Oh I see what you mean. I'll take a pic and try and post it. Ever since these Tapatalk app updates I've lost my ability to upload pics.

I have a Samsung Galaxy s5 active.  It worked before, then there has been like 3 updates to tapatalk and since the first update it won't upload pics.

I have same problem

Since tapatalk updated i can no longer post pics

Have to download newest version
Which my iPhone 4 won't let me do because the updated tapatalk uses  too much memory to even load on the phone

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I can go to the attach pic menu, choose a pic, then it bring up that loading box with the status bar and the arrow that moves up and down. It will either sit on 0% and never move for a long time and you have to cancel out of it to get back to typing screen OR it will when you select a pic the same box will appear and it will jump straight to 100% loaded and then just sit there with the same moving arrow and never finish or go away and you have to cancel out of it to get back to the typing screen.

So the behavior is the same, box appears, just sits there, never does anything for long time, have to cancel out to get it go away. The only difference is the status bar is either at 0% or 100% but end result is the same and I never get a pic out of it.

yes, i copied the img url from your picture you sent me and pasted it with the img code.

and yes a picture from the side

the cable from the sleeve to the carb looks like its almost at 40°. and since you have a bend in it it seams like there is slack in it. i have before bent my cable brackets to make them be straighter from the bracket to the carb.

you can use the img button circled in red then right click the img and copy the img url.

i would use google and click and hold on the image the img then it should give  you the option to copy the img url or you can host to photobucket

I don't have a website to host my pics.  I just load then from my phone memory but since it won't load idk how to post. It works in a PM for some weird reason

Now is photo bucket open like Facebook or is it private. Can I use it as just a site to hold my pics so I can put them up here or if they are on photo bucket will they be viewable by the whole world?

photobucket is either or. if you click on any picture i posted about the img code its on my photobucket. it will let you try and click on my library then you will get this "rebel_cowboy_83's Library is Private". and you cant see any pictures that i dont post.
once you upload it you can get the img code but if you move the img to a different folder then your old img code wont be any good and you will have to update it.

saying all that i wouldnt upload bad pictures cause nothing is really safe on the internet or your phone

Oh ok. No I wouldn't upload bad pictures anyway. I'm just not one who likes everything out for the whole world to see as it is. I'm just trying to figure out how to be able to post pics back up on here. I don't care about anywhere else.

Are you uploading as an attachment or Tapatalk hosted?

Attachment I think, I'm not sure. I click the paperclip icon and then select photos and then click a photo and it tries to up load thru the Tapatalk app, that's when it stops working.

Like the screen shots below.  Are you hitting attachment at the end?

Yea mostly like that. I try to attach it as an attachment.  You have the white bar with the spinning circle, mine is simular but it's a black bar with a 0-100% bar and the word "Processing". Everything works fine until that box appears and then the box will sit there forever without changing. That's when all progress stops.
