I've sought the help of fellow chevy enthusiast here before an hope that once again you may help. I'm still working on an old problem. I have an 87 Silverado with duel tanks. I drove it fine for a few yrs an one day after filling, the driver side tank quit working. a friend recently had a new pump put in for me in exchange for borrowing it. and I have replaced relay on firewall and transfer valve. still nothing. when I put power straight tp pump from battery, pump runs. but when I test power coming in im only getting 7.8v. at the transfer valve getting 12v. looking at top of new pump it appears that a red wire is not being used. I also have an original pin connection with only 1 wire going in but 2 coming out, looks like a green was cut off flush. anyone have anymore ideas?
