I'm sure by now most of you take your pick-up trucks for granted.
Somehow I've lived 45 years, and only got my first truck less than a week ago. Today I needed to pick up 3 bales of straw for my daughter's archery butt and it was SO amazing to be able to just drive and pick them up.
I've always had SUV's, and normally the job would require strapping to the roof, or cleaning the tools out of my truck, then cleaning it out after or hooking up the cargo trailer and then cleaning that out after.
The job would normally have taken me at least 45 minutes and I was done in 15. It was amazing. I'm in love with my rusty old truck.

just got this truck a couple months ago for $1800 and the gate has been used more times than i can count, plus the kids love it

I can certainly see how that would be useful, especially after I add a few inches to my truck, but it's not very pretty is it.

na it is ugly. didnt plan on keeping it on there was going to remove it and resell but before i even got it tagged we used it 3 times. did end up giving it a paint job to get rid of all that rust

That would be pretty hard to part with once you get used to having it.
