Any opinions on running 28x12.0-18 on the rear and 28x10-18 on the front. My '76 is lowered on Ridetech airbag system. I'm open on wheels as yet.
-
OK, no takers. What if I said 285/45-18 rear and 265/50-18 front? These are close in metric
-
This seems to answer the question, not the same numbers but overall size is the same for the front.
This is live85's truck with about a 4/6 drop and my 20's on them with 275/40/20's for the Boss 335 15x8.5 wheels with 5.670" backspacing for those wanting info on a lower setup..

The front at 10" wide will probably hit. the inner fender depending on how low it is.
-
Not going to run factory inner fenders, just some steel trailer fenders. What do you think? :-\
-
It should be ok if you mount them high. Just verify your backspacing and clearance to the fender lip.

Thanks Cap. 8)
Can I assume the backspacing on the white truck (5.670") is good for the 18x8.5 front wheels, Same for the 18x10s in the rear or a little less say 5". It's a Stepside.

you should be ok. I would still measure though and keep in mind the tire height. Those are about 28.5" tall.
