My 1986 chevy k10 with a sbc 350 recently stopped running. Its not getting fuel. If i pour fuel in the carb it runs. What should i check first? The fuel pump or the lines. Also is there anything else in the fuel system that could go bad and cause it to not fun? It sat for a year in a driveway so i was thinking it may just be gunked up but im not sure

a little more info. carb or tbi, electric pump or manual?
-
Carb and manual
-
could be a clogged filter. what type of carb? take the inlet line off the carb and have someone turn it over see if you can get any fuel from there (try to catch the fuel with a bottle)
-
I believe its a rochester carb. Also the manual pump is the one that gets hooked up on the motor right?
-
manual gets bolted to the side of the engine. there should be a filter where the inlet line bolts to the carb. you cant see it till you remove the line and its in the carb

Thanks, ill try this once i fix the starter

I think you mean mechanical pump. A manual fuel pump would get old real quick! Make extra sure to use two wrenches when you remove the fuel line from the carb. or it will twist and ruin the line.
