Title: Gas Gauge Fix

So I just got this 1979 GMC HighSierra 1500 Shortbed
It was a Diesel and was converted to gas.
Had 2 Tanks but now only has one? (Need to get under there and check that out and see exactly whats going on)

My gas gauge has been on "FULL" and I ran out of gas.
I did a little research and all I can find on it is to check the grounding.

Any other thing I should try to troubleshoot it?
