HEY GUYS NOT SURE IF THIS IS THE CORRECT PLACE TO POST. I HAVE A 84 C10 THAT I BOUGHT WITH NO BACK GLASS. THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE EDGING AROUND THE WINDOW INCLUDING THE METAL BEED/ LIP INSIDE THE OPENING. SAFELITE AND ANOTHER LOCAL COMPANY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO PUT A BACK GLASS IN DUE TO IT BEING TO "TIGHT". THEY ARE CLAIMING BODY DAMAGE WHICH IS CRAZY. ANY THOUGHTS WOULD BE GREAT.

picture please. unless serious bend in the cab and they are correct parts it should go.... can be a jerk sometimes
-
are you using the string method or just trying to get it in there -
-
They were using the string method, plus me and my buddy helping push on the window frame, hew as able to get the slider in but the slide window would not open due to to much pressure. I will have to get a pic mobday because its at the second shop due to trying a different gasket. Like i said minor dent in roof but no bondo, wrinkles, cracks, gaps holes or anything in the bead and channel

Measure the glass opening when you can and I will measure one of my cabs tomorrow.
-
Opening measured 13 3/4 inches.
-
Is it a factory slider and gasket and are they attempting to use the same gasket on the glass? Depending on who made the slider it will come with a different gasket...
-
Finally got the window done, and not by safelite. The gaskets they use are to thick. I went with a different company and had no issues. Thanks for the help guys
