Title: 12" SUBS

hey guys i just got two kicker comp svc 12" subs and a 1500 watt 4 channel amp .... i was wondering what the best way to wire that to get the best sound possible in a small cab.. thanks in advance

Model numbers would help alot.  Also define best sound.  Loudest?  Cleanest?  What size and style box are u using?

i am looking for loud but vlean bass... something i can show up friends with when i want to kicker comp svc 12" autotek 1550.4 amp and a sealed box.... also what gauge wire is best.. thanks

For the wiring aspect you will want to wire the subs in a 2ohm load. For the best sound and most amount of power.

And since the amp is a 4 channel amp you will want to bridge the channels together. It should explain the process more in the manual.


And as for the wire gauge I would recommend at least 4 gauge. And run the fuse on the power wire.

One last thing if you want clean "hitting" bass keep the box sealed but if you want really loud bass port the box. (And another trick for louder bass is to fill the box with pillow stuffing.)
