I'm in the process of redoing the brakes on my 1980 k20 brakes. (only "in the process" because I'm waiting for new ss brake lines since the originals burst)
Since I have to do the front rotors I pulled the hubs off and in cleaning up the spindle I noticed it has marginal (1/16") vertical play. Is this normal? Is it affecting the quality of my steering? Is it something I should fix?

Anyone?

could it be something is bad in the hub or bearings or just someone didnt tighten the lock nuts down right

Thanks, I'll take a closer look.

Where exactly is the play?
Im thinkjng There should not be any play in any of the parts
