This is my 1978 cheyenne it's Cordova brown (factory color) my daily driver and my first truck it has a 350 v8 because 6s are not my thing 👌
-
I'm looking to bag it on 20" with 45 I'm not too sure if I want to stagger the wheels or keep them all the same any ideas or what to use
-
Nice truck. Color looks good. Welcome to the site.
-
Thanks needs to be re painted but I'm staying with the same color
-
Cool. when mines ready for paint I'm seriously considering moving from white to a brown called "brownstone metallic". Found on the 2014 and up silverados. It's a very pretty color.
-

Looks good. Gotta go big in back. Smaller up front.
-
would it prevent me from fish tailing as much.?
-
depends on how much wider and stickier of a tire you plan to run.
but a little less right foot would be the easiest solution ;)
-
Welcome and a sweet 78 you have

Thanks bro

How do I post mor pics all the pics I try and post they say they are too big I've even tried cropping them and it still says they are too big

You should get an account with an image hosting website. It lets you upload any image, no fuss, and then you get the URL for the image and put it into your replies on this forum by using the "insert image" button.
Photobucket is popular, but IMO it's become a PITA. http://tinypic.com/ is super simple but you don't get as much photo management. https://imageshack.us/ might be the best option. Then there's Flickr, but it's kind of the same deal as Photobucket.
But whatever you do, do NOT post pics on here that are hosted elsewhere, then delete them. :)
-
Love your truck BTW
-
Thanks man what do you mean by pictures hosted elsewhere.?
-
I mean, if you're using Photobucket or Imageshack or whatever to upload the photos to your account on the image hosting website, and then you put those photos in this here thread on 78-87chevytrucks.com... then, years later, if you delete the photo from Photobucket or Imageshack or whatever, then the pictures here in this here thread will become "broken images" i.e. they'll show up like this: (http://asdf.com/asdfasdf/asdf.png) (depending on what browser you're using, you'll either see nothing or the broken image icon)
This is why, if you look back at the old build threads in Members Rides, like 1 out of 4 will have all broken images because the guy deleted them and didn't think about how that would effect sites (this this one here) that use those images.
-
Oh alright thanks for the info I'll keep that in mind
-
I just recently changed the step bumper to a roll pan one
-
Roll pan
-
Inside
-
Found an app that resizes
-
Bumper is referred to as the sport bumper not roll pan :P
-
Well thank you for that I always thought the name was roll pan 👌

Roll pan tucks right in to the body and is generall fibreglass. The sport bumper is a quick and easy way to clean up these trucks.
