My R10 87 has a 2.5/4 I drop on it.  2.5" spindles and 4" rear springs.

Nice. I was thinking about getting the 2/4 economy drop kit from mcgaughys. Or maybe just 2 inch springs and a flip kit? Not really sure. Can't stand stock. Not into lowriders. Wish it was 4wd. Thanks.

A flip kit and 2" springs will put the rear lower than the front.

Ok well you seem to know more than me lol. What brand makes a good fairly priced 2/4 drop kit? I'm not looking to sink a lot of money or time right now. Thanks

I guess it depends on your budget.  Shackle/hangers in the rear and 2" springs or spindles for the front should be fairly cheap.
I don't have a source for these right now but Summit or Jegs should have them.
