I want to preface this by saying I’m not new to cars/trucks/suspension/mods… etc... Spent 6 years as a mechanic for Chrysler and wrenched since I was 7. Not to come off pompous, but I don’t want you guys to think I’m just spewing forth young kid nonsense. But I’m truly stumped…
So, I've searched and searched and have come up with nothing (google and bing seem to only bring up ads these days). I know that there are tons of 4 links (triangulated and parallel) and I know there are 3 link setups (with watts links or panhard bars)… But I can’t understand why no one has ever done a 3 link using the stock leaf spring hangers. Perhaps I’m missing something here. Wouldn’t it make sense that you could attach a trailing arm to the stock hangers, weld up upper and lower bag mounts, and throw a watts/panhard on it and have a simplified setup?
I understand there could be an issue with suspension geometry, but couldn’t you still shim your axle for the angle and center it with the 3rd link?
Any insight is welcome. I think my brain is fried from lack of sleep these days.

Disregard... apparently my Google-Foo is weak.. :(
Welp, I guess I'll back silently into my corner.
Unless anyone has some homemade setups to show

posted a question myself after looking for hours, then looked some more and bam found my answer. Been there done that. I wouldn't worry about it...

it looks like a nice kit. you planning to buy it?

I don't think I'm going to buy that kit. I think I might work on fabricating my own when I get back. Currently away for work. Just researching what I can do. You know how that goes....
