Title: New here but otherwise older and hopefully wiser
Post by: TerryY on March 03, 2015, 02:06:26 pm
I have three that kinda fit. Just bought the dually. Always wanted one so that is off my bucket list now.
I have several projects in mind to start--electric windows--re-padding the Flexsteel drivers bucket seat--new mirrors--new dash cover and on and on.

Dithered about for quite a while before I bought it. Couldn't make up my mind about what I "needed" versus what I "wanted". Then I bought a compact tractor and added needing to haul a trailer thru the hills up here and went for overkill  :)

My diesel van struggles with hills when loaded and if you hook up a trailer it acts as if it has been wounded and is about to expire. So 95 more hp and an extra 120 foot pounds sounded real good. But I am not quite sure if I will ever approach the 10k GVWR even if I loaded the tractor and its implements directly on the truck.

If I were to hazard a guess I believe the seats are from a Suburban because they have storage pockets on the back of the seats.

Welcome from Northern Illinois. Nice looking truck, I have a 1977 K30 DRW myself. What's the hood ornament on the Dually?

A 6 iron. PO was both a golfer and a Seahawk fan. Seahawk brand club head.

Was born and raised around Kankakee Illinois and now living above Woodland Washington.
And if I ever get back to it I have a small acreage with a giant garage out in the desert south of Florence Arizona.
