My truck has 235/75r15 up front (29") and 275/60r15 (28"). I want staggered (wider in rear, a little taller too) like 29s or 30s in rear and 28s or 29s in front, what sizes look best on stepside trucks? Mine is not lowered, i want a little rake and not alot of extra room in the fenders, in other words the tires should fill the fenders nicely. Any suggestions and/or pics would be greatly appreciated.

so how much wider than what you have do you want them? How much taller/shorter. Looks like you want to go own an inch in the front.
Current size is approx 28.8" tall. to get it down to around 28" use a 235/70/15 which is right at 28" with the same width.
For the rear current size is 28" tall, you will need 285/65/15 which will be about 29.5" tall and wider.

i know the 28" (rear) tires are a slight wider about 1" but what about just moving the rear to the front and front to rear?

Captkaos, thank you, i will try to find 285/65r15.
Irish_alley, thank you as well, the tires on there now don't hold air and are 14 years old.
I looked into it more sonce my post and it is hard to find 15" tires outside of select sizes anymore, i seem to have better luck finding 16" or 17" tires to meet my criteria, however, wheels would add to the cost even more so they will likely have to wait. On a related note, i may lower the truck slightly in the future, like say 2.5" spindles and 3" blocks.

So as luck would have it I scored some 17x9 inch wheels today, now should I go with a 275/60 in rear or 285/60, with 235/65 up front?
275/60r17 = 30" tall and 10.8" wide
285/60r17 = 30.5" tall and 11.2" wide
235/65r17 = 29" tall and 9.2" wide

So, I just ordered tires today, I opted for 275/55r17 rears and 225/65r17 fronts. All hankook. I'll have the tires mounted on thursday.
