Title: lwb truck bed! where can i get one! new or used!

looking for a lwb bed with dual gas tank holes...

where can i look into purchasing an aftermarket bed and a new bed....

i have only been able to find weld on panels...


any info would rock!

  Truck catalog pg. 25.   But does anyone know of anywhere cheaper?  I hope so,  that is one $$$ box- more expensive than a wife  lol

I am trying to sell a LWB that is in excellent condition.  Has gas filler on driver side only.. You can modify that easily though.  Will sell cheap.  Whole thing (bed sides, bed floor, tubs, tailgate, everything)  for $400.00.

It is the kind of dent the was a slow rub in. It is about a foot tall. It is the kind you put in a basket ball inbetween the fender and box and then inflate the ball. It will pop out with little effort. I will work on pictures. I have the truck in a storage lot. Where do you live?
I am in So. Cal. I am going to list the '84 complete cab on eBay, I will get the pictures at the same time.

hey that sounds like a good bed if you say its straight "except for that dent" and rust free...

i live in louisiana...baton rouge to be exact..
it would probably kill me in shipping to have it sent here though...

my zip 70816...if you can figure out how much it weighs..

id shop around. i did and found a whole truck for $400, i used the alloy rims, front fenders, and the bed. The bed and fenders had almost no rust and no dents, rare in connecticut!

I have a 79 4X4 chevy that I am parting out.Have bed,cab and lock-out hubs. The truck has 58K miles,the remaining parts are in good shape,the bed has slight damage to the right side,the cab is fine,as is the lock-out

Hey Scrant, I have one on a 87 R-20 p/u.It has dual tanks and has a dent behind the RH fuel door and has another where something slid forward. I want to get $250 for it.
