Title: How do i fix this Leak?
Post by: Thundergun on March 19, 2015, 10:16:44 pm
Hey all. Well im finally getting around to fixing a lot on my k10.

So the transfer case appears to be leaking where the front drive shaft connects. See photo.

Is there a seal here that i need to replace? Anyone have a PN for it? I called autozone earlier and told them i needed said seal and i swear that they had no idea what i was talking about. She asked me 4 or 5 times if it was a V8 or V6.

Pretty sure the tag says it's a 208C transfer case.

Thanks everyone.

Thank you very much. that is def not the part they almost sold me. I guess i could have tried to check the website myself first ...

Any tricks to installing it? I imagine i remove the drive shaft from the front dif. Then from the transfercase. Then i should be able to swap the seal.

Thanks again.
