Title: 454 headers???

I have a 1984 454 and i think the headers are for like a 70s cuz there round and the heads are ovalish so there is some restrain is that bad?

Probably cheap headers.

All 454 heads were "ovalish".

It is easier to weld round tubes into the flanges than it is to make the tubes oval to match the ports.
