Can anyone give me a ballpark dollar amount of what it would cost to do a full dual exhaust system replacement, except the manifolds. Including all hardware and labor? What would most shops charge? Thanks.

I installed the headers, so from headers back in 2.5" pipe with 2 of his longest Stainless Magnaflow mufflers and longest 2.5" stainless tips cost me just over $1000. That is Canadian currency though, so like $20 U.S.

It's going to depend on what you want, 2wd vs 4x4, short bed vs long, and where you are. I live 35 miles from a Summit Racing store, so long-tube headers, mandrel bent 2.25 exhaust and two Thrush Turbo mufflers cost me just under $500 and me and a buddy installed it in one afternoon with clamps. Then I went and had it welded and ran straight out the back (instead of bent 90 behind the wheels) for $75 more on my 83 K10 long bed

Best bet. Drive it to an exhaust shop. A place that only does exhaust and ask them. 2-300 would be ballpark for what you are asking. Get your mufflers from summit or jegs so all they are charging you for are the pipes and tips. I am not a magna flow guy so I would say go with flowmasters.
Spend the money on your headers though. They should be at least 225 or more. Don't cheap out or you will be replacing them sooner than you would like.

Ok, thanks. I purchased the intermediate pipes, mufflers and tailpipes and all hardware, plus installation and some modifications, welding ect. plus new donuts put in where it meets the manifold, and had all new hinges, bushings and pins installed on both doors plus a multi point inspection for $600.00. I just got the truck, so i had my mechanic go through it.
