Title: Bucket Seat Install`
Post by: enaberif on March 22, 2015, 06:25:42 pm
Lots of people are wondering how they can put bucket seats into their trucks. I was able to get a set of high back bucket seats with the console for a decent price awhile ago and went to work on figuring out how to mount them.

Here is what I used and you will need.
Buck Seats to install
Bench Seat Brackets x 2 sourced from a 78-80. Other years are different and won't work as well
1/8"x1"x(length you desire) flat bar
1"x2" rectangular tubing cut into 1 3/4" pieces (you will need 4 of these)
Welder, Grinder/Chop Swap, Drill, Drill Bits

You will need to drill two holes into the floor pan of the truck to allow one bolt to be installed and you will need to make or get a hold of the bracket for the seat brackts

Here is the bottom of the seat with the riser and bench seat bracket installed
