Title: Decent quality bumpers/hoods/tailgates?

I'm trying to decide where to get some new bumpers, a hood and tailgate from. Or if the branding of said items even matters. I have already bought a cheap front bumper from eBay and literally cracked the chrome during installation. Wondering if AMD or other companies are of superior quality than the cheaper stuff you find on eBay or if it's just a shot in the dark.

If it matters I'm looking for just the standard bumpers front and rear, a cowl hood and plain tailgate with no lettering.

Check the site store, Capt Kaos (Chris the site owner) sells those products. I've heard nothing but good about the quality.

I'm all for supporting the site but I can get the same parts for substantially cheaper elsewhere (Goodmark hoods etc).  That $150 truck freight charge is a killer.

I just wondered on the quality from different manufacturers but if its all site store or nothing here then so be it.  Just curious.

Ok no problem. Talk to Chris anyway, he can tell you what producers have good quality and who doesnt.

Got amd bed floor, inner fronts , front bed panel. From jegs. I would say the thickness & appearance of those parts is equal to any of the OEM nos parts I have.

If you are buying a number of items the truck freight charge will cover a whole pallet of parts.  So a Hood, Tailgate and Bumper would be $150 for shipping via truck to a BUSINESS...
Depending on what you are buying will make a difference.  Goodmark or Keyparts are what I sell and are good quality.  Goodmarks (their PN not LKQ) 73-80 fenders are better, in my opinion.  Hoods tailgates and sheetmetal from KeyParts are good Quality also.  Keep in mind this forum isn't a forum, it is business that sells parts and the cost of forum is paid buy that.

I see.  Well I appreciate the info and didnt mean to be negative at all.  Sadly Im poor and dont see myself buying a pallet of parts all at once but thats a good deal in that case.

I have also had good luck with goodmark products.   Hope that helps.
