Title: hood prob

I have a 76 k10 and the hood will not stay down in the back by the window. It also moves up and down alot while I am driving. Is it the springs or the hinges or alignment or some of each??

I had a similar problem and found that there were two problems:  The first was that the bumper stops were not coming into contact with the hood.  They should be rubber.  The other problem was that the hood was not bolted in tight enough.

Other than that I would need to know some more about what is going on.
