Getting ready to have my truck painted. How do I take off the rear cab mouldings and tailgate finish panel on an '87 Silverado fullsize without doing damage?? Any helpful hints will be greatly appreciated for this and any other trim problems you think I may run into.

the rear cab trim on the corners have nuts on the inside holding them on either side of the seat up in the corner behind the speakers, and the long piece slides out on either side once the corners are off. and the rear taligate filler should have big phillips screws that all come off about 5 i think.

Thanks 454 !! Got them off with no problems. New problem- I took of my door interior trim panels. The upholstered inserts are held on by nuts on the plastic post/stud from the back of the panel. When I try to remove the nut, it twists the stud off. Any ideas ??
