I'm beginning to think about what my suspension setup will be for the future. I know I want to lower my 86 C10 some but wondered how low I could go and still keep the 255/70R15s that I have on it now? I'm planning to go with a Cragar 15x8 w/ 4.25" backspacing all around if that makes a difference.
PS - The truck is a bit of a mystery to me as it already sits level but supposedly has all stock springs. I have the 4 leaf pack in the rear. I'm planning on new leafs if I did something like a flip kit but I don't want to waste money either.

Bueller...
Just trying to make sure I don't break anything or have fitment issues.

2/4 drop should work but how low are you wanting to go. a flip is a 5" drop minimum.

Yeah, I dont want too drastic. I was afraid if I went 3/5 the tires might be too tall since they are 29". I wont ever haul anything heavy so load capacity is not really a concern. I was leaning toward 2" coils and 4" leafs.

That is what my truck drop is...

Oh nice, are you happy with it? What brand did you go with? Any pics of that setup?

Western Chassis. Very happy with it.

Well good deal, that's what I was looking at also. Did you go with their shocks also? Thanks for the help.

Will, playing catch up, but I used Monroe shocks on mine and used shock extenders on the back so I could use factory shock lengths.
