Okay, so I have a chevy 350 V8 engine that is being switched over from the fuel injection system, to a 650 cfm Edelbrock carb. I have a Lunati Voodoo Complete Cam Kit that will be going into this as well as a pair of 1997 model vortec heads, hooker headers, and Flowmaster Dual Exhaust.
My question is, is that there any other way to get more horsepower without killing my wallet? Lol.

Wideband and tune the truck for maximum efficiency and power.

General rule for everyone: "The faster you wanna go the deeper you have to reach into your wallet"
-
Some dyno tuning after you're done
Can usually squeeze out another 25-45 HP

youll need a Vortec intake manifold to match the heads

FlatBlack77 I'm wanting to find an EnduraShine Vortec intake from Edelbrock, I just don't know how much they run.

So this is a "stale" thread, but maybe others doing a build will read it.
Old saying, "There is no substitute for cubic inches". To make more power, build more CID into it.
Scat crank or (turn journals on a 400 crank?), stroke it out, more low RPM torque will result, too...which is what a truck really needs...
