Here's mine, also in NC. There seems to be a lot of long beds in my area.

Only 2 in NC?
Here are a few of mine.
Do 8' step sides count?
If so, I got that beat.
The other 2 are Military CUCV's

Dang Froto nice ride! Is that the one getting the engine swap on your build thread?
Irish, you missed a spot when you washed your 79. Little spot there on the door lol.

Here's mine

Sure is! Its not as clean as that pic makes it seem but the body has always been in perfect shape. You might be a redneck if...your daughter can ride her tricycle under your truck with no problem.

this isnt 100% true, my truck they could ride under it with no clearance problems but due to the oil/fluid leaks they would have a problem
-
That's not a problem then it just looks like they are helpin.. but you can't beat self changing oil!
-
Sorry for the edit but the only better pic I have(http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/05/29/d6ff4aacd3f8ebc09306e6ce27f9d32b.jpg)

Sorry Chub380 for the very long delay to reply. I've got the 2.5" Skyjacker lift with 255 85 16" BFG KM2 MT tires. This tire seems to be the tallest actual size of the 255 85 series tires I researched. The slotted wheels are a bit wider than they should be for that size tire, and I actually touched corners of the fenders when turning and going off camber. May be going back to factory 16" steel wheels with original hub caps soon. Kind of want to go back to the original look.

74K20,
That's a great looking truck.
I sent you a p.m. about the rims.

This is what she looks like currently... Putting a junkyard bed on next week :)

Rustbucket86, keep that flag waving my friend! I'm happy too see it flying.
Zeig, that seems to be the end result of too many extra beds and not enough extra crew cabs. Lol gotta fill the gap somehow.

Hey, how do you paint just the letters on the tailgate??
-
I bought the truck with its paint job. From what I can tell just from looking it looks like the tailgate was removed, laid out and hand painted. I wish I could give you a better answer brother. Let me get in touch with the guy I bought it from and see what he says and I'll post back.

What kind of drop you go with on your truck? Or is it at stock height hard to tell.
-
No drop, factory height. I do need some new shocks though.
-
Hey, how do you paint just the letters on the tailgate??
How I've done it: Thoroughly clean and degrease the lettered area. Slightly scuff the letters with very fine sand paper, being careful to just scuff the letters. Clean again Then carefully mask between and around the letters. Use an X-acto knife to trim around the letters. Cover everything else from overspray and spray paint the area in desired color.
-
Nice! I will try that, good job!
