				I've tried and tried several times today to get these bad boy back in time and I have not had any luck. I get #1 at tDC on compression stroke and line my rotor button up with #1 plug tower and still no start. Any help grately appreciated need to get this going its my only vehicle

 May be 180 degrees out
 
 We had to take an old dizzy cap and cut out the center so we could actually see where the rotor was pointing
 
 Then we lined up the timing mark on the crank pulley at 0
 Looked thru the hole in the cap to make sure rotor was pointing at #1 when the dizzy was seated in
 
 Sometimes you have to have someone turn the dizzy back and forth slowly when cranking to get it to crank
 Its off more than you think
 
 Then i set the timing. By ear listening for knock going up a hill full throttle or with a vacuum gauge
