Title: Welding in glass packs?

Im gonna get some thrush glass packs and i know that with exhaust clamps you want the flow coming from a male end and into a female end to help prevent leaks. Is this necessary if i weld a sealed weld?

it isnt exactly necessary but it would probably help exhaust flow a tiny bit.

but if its easier to do it the other way and it would be a huge hassle to get things flipped around or whatever then i would just not worry about it and weld that bad boy up

male to female helps prevent turbulence but most times its nothing its nothing unless you want to make your exhaust as free flowing as possible or at least thats what im thinking

Yes, i'm also thinking it won't make much a difference especially that far back.

i also feel welding is better than clamps.

when i did my duals i left the header collectors/reducers unboltable and i clamped the mufflers. then welded all the other pipe together. that way i can swap out mufflers if i didnt like/get tired of 8 inch cherry bombs
