Hello im ask to find a seal for my th400 transmission i have a chevy 85 c30 the leak is from the shifter on the drivers side ive found a few online but want to ask yall guys first no other leaks are found just were the shifter linkage goes into the trans ives changed the filter a few months ago and check it it was loose but its all good any info helps

What exactly do you mean by this?

When i had the pan off i checked the bolt on the shifter shaft was loose but every thing is tight i was having shifting problems then but it was filter related im mainly looking for the seal but i can only find it on ebay

Napa NOS 480050 (http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx/A-Trans-Shift-Shaft-Speedi-Sleeve-Seal-Kt/_/R-NOS480050_0141208890) if the manual shaft was grooved by the old seal.
