Hello, It's bin awhile sense I've owned a GM truck, it was a 1973 C20 GMC, I sold in 1980. Now I'm a proud new owner of a 1977 C10 Scottsdale! I bought this truck from a friend, He got the truck from his Dad which got the truck from his Dad, Who bought it new 1977, when he sold there farm. Total mileage after three generations 27155 miles! The truck was always garaged until 15 years ago, when my friend recieved it from his Dad, sense then it has sat outside for 15 years, 8 miles from the ocean! Now there is rust in the hood, surface rust on top rails of the bed. His son drove it to high school for two years, that was 8 years ago. Sence then it been driven about three times a year! The truck now needs some work, new hood, bed tops needs rust removed, & it won't go into reverse until the truck is warmed up (which means Rebuilt). The paint can be rubbed out, match the new hood blue, bed liner paint on the top rails of bed & inside full bed. I'll do a 4"- 5" drop with rear air bags, for our small fifth wheel. I want to replace the stock wheels, with 8"- 10" stock steel wheels with dog dish hub caps that are perfect, also install carpet & remove the rubber mat. It feels good to be back in a classic Chevy! I won't be able to get the trans out for a couple month though, I'm recovering from back surgery! So that's my story. Thanks for listening!
