My 84 3500 has the sm465. Shifts fine, clutch catches great. Only issue is after I drive it, shut truck off the clutch is super stiff. I know these clutches are heavy, much more than my 6sp tacoma. I greased the pivot on frame. Once running it operates as normal

Sounds like the throwout bearing maybe binding on the input shaft collar.
The engine running probably causes just enough vibration/agitation/shaking for it to slide over the dry spots and thickend grease but causes it to bind up when not running.

That sounds more than reasonable. Any way to lube it without taking off trans/bell housing?

Might be able to go through the hole in the side of the bell where the fork comes out.
Use a really light coat of high temp grease like wheel bearing grease.
If you can manage to do it this way someone will have to hold down the clutch pedal while someone else applies the grease onto the input shaft bearing retainer behind the throwout bearing.
