Title: What size gas tank
Post by: Jakethesnake73 on May 31, 2015, 10:05:47 pm
Not sure if this is the right place to put this but i was wondering what size fuel tank in in a 1987 blazer tbi 350, it has a rear mount tank.  One of the baffle spot welds has stressed and leaks. Also could this be causing a stalling issue when tank is low due to lack of fuel pressure or something

It being loose shouldn't cause any stalling unless it is REALLY empty.  You can run EFI pumps in a non baffled tank as long as you don't run it less than about 3-5 gallons or so..  Even then it will stall on a baffled tank.  My Suburban has done this a few times on some big hills in turns and it is EFI and baffled.
