Ok so does 454s have hydraulic or mechanical cams stock also would it b too much to put a 750 double pump its got 650 now an intake and headers now i want a cam.im looking in the 550 lift area

Usually hydraulic or mechanical refers to the type of lifter. They are hydraulic from the factory.

The maximum theoretical air a normally aspirated (no supercharger, turnocharger, or nitrous) 454 can pump at 5000 rpm is 650 cfm.  In practice it will be less than that.  So I think it is probably optimally carbureted at the moment.
