Hey everyone new to the site but not new to the forum world. I have a 1979 C10 SWB. I was curious what the widest wheel and tire setup I can run is before I have to start messing with the suspension and tubbing the rear. I've researched and found that the majority of the guys run 15x10 with a 5" bs. Can anyone confirm that this is the widest wheel setup possible for stock suspension setup.
Thans in advance.!

I just got 15x10 with 5.5 backspacing.. just fitted the rims only today with no tires and they should be almost perfectly centered with 1/4in spacers.. I’ll be able to for a 12.5 tire if I cut off the bolts that stick out of the wheel tubs on the inner fender.. I’m mounting 32/11.50 15s on.. but I could fit a 33/12.50 15 if I wanted.
Truck is 2wd 77 blazer
