Hello all. Yesterday I finally decided it was time to do my 56" spring swap on my project truck ( just a frame right now ) it's a 75 4x4 frame. Any how I made my measurements drilled my holes bolted them up and they looked great. The problem can in when I went to drill holes on the bottom of the frame for the bracing piece. The issue is there's a crossmember now pretty buch centered with the hanger and its riveted on the bottom of the frame right where the brace needs to go. Any body got any clue what I can do here? Is the brace mandatory? Any help would be appreciated

Hey quick question guys. I'm installing my 56" rear springs on my frame today. Does anybody know where the longer side of the springs should be?

what size came off the truck? are these from rough country? the should be marked with a "+" and "-" + meaning front. but on my 79 not sure what size springs the + up front made the rear axle too far from the driveshaft so i had to flip the springs around. so if youre wrong with the direction of the springs then the axle wont fit and you just have to spin it around

The short side should go to the front.

Front or rear? You got a picture of what you are talking about?
