Title: Frame Rust Q
Post by: irishprez on January 08, 2004, 09:23:00 am
I have a 84 c10 4x4 short-box step that I want to restore. I had it up on the lift the other day, and noticed I have some pretty serious rust on the rear frame rails where the bed bolts to the frame.
Is it worth repairing, or doing a frame swap..
Other than that the truck is all there hate to part with it.

thanks
K

The frames are pretty thick (relatively) if the metel is just rusty, I wouldn't worry about it.  If it is rusting apart then that is a different story.
