How difficult of a task is it to convert an 86 to tbi from an 87

Not to hard if you're a decent shade tree mechanic
Find a donor and get everything
And swap it over

I've done it


You will need a new tank and pump from a 87 also

Now would be a good time to swap in a LS engine with EFI if your engine is worn out
