The only thing to be wary of is that the '73 and '74 (i think) model years used a different wiring harness than the later models. The hole in the firewall where the fuse panel mounts is smaller in these model years. Therefore if you use a newer cab you will also need to maintain its original wiring harness and not the one from the '73. This also means that you will need to obtain matching engine, headlight, and tail light harness as well. 1973 K20 - 350/465(as of 10-04-03)/205
Hmmmm, I will have to look at another cab to check, but I'm almost certain that the fuse panel in my 73 cab was smaller than the later models. I will have to make a trip to the junkyard to check since my original cab has long since been scrapped.
