MSD Digital Multispark 6 AL Box.. New out of box.. Paired with a MSD Pro Billet HEI Distributor.. Upon ignition on.. 5 led light flashes..tried starting..now absolutely nothin..!! Trouble checked wiring..to factory specs..all good there.. I'm grounded to body..tight..to bare metal.. Any ideas folks.!? Shout back with any insight..! Appreciated

In your previous thread, 383 Chevy Stroker (http://forum.73-87chevytrucks.com/smforum/index.php?topic=31000.msg260417#msg260417), you indicated you had a bad ignition module in the MSD distributor.  Did you replace the module?

I had sort of the same problem. I was told  to tie the ground directly to the battery. I did, it worked. Hope this helps

Is it possible the wires under the distributer cap are not insulated from each other. Make sure they can't ground out.
