Hello all. I am looking at replacing my stock rubber cab mounts on my '84 short bed standard cab. Lowered spindles and springs up front. Flip shackles and hangers in the rear. Anyone have any reviews on the Energy Suspension poly bushings? Any other brand better?

I did Energy Suspension cab mount bushings on my C10. While it made the truck feel a whole lot tighter and new, it also transferred a whole lot of noise/vibration/harshness into the cab. Mind you, I have all poly suspension mounts as well as all poly motor/trans mounts. And 1-ton springs front and rear.
I kind of regret the poly cab mounts. But I'm getting old and feeble.

Energy suspension is pretty much the best. I did their body mounts, no complaints here at all, ride quality is good, overall smoothness is good. I'm happy. I plan on using their suspension and steering bushings also.

Thanks guys! I'll go with Energy. Truck rides like crap with the drop anyway so might as well stiffen it up!

Welcome. If it rides stiff now, then it will be increased with the new mounts. If the ride is more being in a boat then new mounts will stiffen it up and give it some strength.

I would not use the stock rubber replacement from a place like oh say . Less than a year after installed mine are all cracked up and look like crap. Maybe the originals were much better but I think I would try the energy ones if I did it over.
