I am getting my truck repainted next month and have a couple questions .
Sherwin Williams paint, is it good for a daily driver?
Plastic front fender emblems, how do I get them off so I can reuse them?
Thanks

As a 30 year employee, SW paint is a very good choice. Emblems come off by 2 nuts on plastic studs that goes through the fender. I've gotten them off without breaking the studs off about 1/2 the time. Easiest when the fender is off but I've taken them without by removing the bolts on the bottom and taking the inner fender well out.

So I can remove the inner fender and get them off?

Loosen the bottom fender bolts and block it away from the cowl.

Sherwin Williams is good , has the car been sanded and perimeter yet ?
-
No, that will be done when I deliver it to the shop.

As long as the shop does everything right it will be good .

Yellow Snow is Sherwin Williams. I am happy with it. Its been close to 10 years since I painted it. It has rust coming through, but the paint has held up well. I have never waxed it since it was painted.

On getting the emblems off. There is a plate (on the inner fender) with three bolts holding it. What does this do and can it be taken off to get to the emblems?
Thanks !!

Scratch that idea it lead to nothing, but worse yet I removed every bolt holding the inner fender, was able to move it but did not get close to the emblem.

Was able to get the emblems off with a little care by prying with a exacto knife. The studs popped so when I reinstall I will possibly use double sided tape.
Thanks,
