Title: '79 C10 choke light

Hey guys,
 I just replaced the carb on my 4.1L (2bbl quadrajet) C10 and hooked the electric choke up. The original owner from whom I purchased the truck from had disconnected it I assumed because the choke housing on the carb was gone. With the choke now hooked up the choke light on the dash stays on all the time. Any ideas?

Check and replace the Choke fuse.
